Pinnacle began the way most good building firms do — with work that had been done badly somewhere else. Too many New Jersey homeowners were handing a set of drawings to a contractor who had never met the person who made them, then paying for the argument that followed. We built the company to close that gap: design and construction under one roof, answering to each other.
Everything else follows from it. You see line items, not a lump sum. You get one project lead who knows your floor plan and your household routine. And when the framing opens up worse than expected — because sometimes it does — you hear it from us that week, with options, rather than at the end with an invoice.

About Pinnacle
What is a design-build firm?
One company that both designs your project and builds it. The conventional route splits those jobs: an architect draws, contractors bid, and when the drawing meets reality on site the two sides argue while you pay for it. Pinnacle carries both roles under one contract, so the person who specified a detail is the person who has to install it.
Who is Pinnacle Constructions NJ?
Pinnacle Constructions is a design-build firm founded in 2019 and based in Totowa, Passaic County. We design, permit and build additions, new homes, whole-home renovations, kitchens, basements, bathrooms and exterior work across all 21 New Jersey counties.
Is Pinnacle Constructions licensed and insured in New Jersey?
Yes. We hold New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration #13VH00000000 and carry general liability and workers’ compensation cover. Certificates are provided with every proposal, before you sign anything.
How far in advance should I book a project?
For kitchens, baths and basements, three to four months ahead of when you want work to start. For additions, new builds and whole-home renovations, six to nine months — because design, engineering and municipal approval all happen before anyone breaks ground.
